Time to Register for Fall Classes

photoIf you’re like me, you’ve thoroughly enjoyed the THRIVE series we’ve been posting this summer on the blog. It’s been great to hear from so many different perspectives on what it means to THRIVE in our lives in Christ. But summer is over (sort of). The kiddos are back in school at any rate, and for many of us, that means those long, lazy summer days are drawing to an end. And with the end of summer comes the beginning of fall classes at Equip Her.

I can’t wait! How about you?

Here’s what we have in store for you for this fall:

SUNDAY MORNINGS  September 10 – December 03, 9:00AM – 10:15AM

All Things New: a Study in 2 Corinthians // Facilitator: Shereen Schwaninger

Ready for something new in your life? Meet up with other women for a DVD study with Kelly Minter that looks at the glorious new life that Jesus offers. As we look into Paul’s most personal letter, we’ll learn how the gospel is more generous, comforting, compassionate, life-giving and freeing than you have ever imagined!

Cost: $10 (workbook included). Homework: 30-45 min/week.

Registration requested. Location: D-103.

TUESDAY MORNINGS  September 12 – December 05, 9:00AM – 11:30AM

Choose from one of these four electives:

MUMs // Facilitator: Laurie Harms
A place to gather with other mothers of preschoolers to learn how gaining spiritual strength helps us form strong bonds at home. You’ll be led to examples in God’s Word, learn life lessons from guest speakers and engage in group discussion and prayer time

Cost: FREE before September 5th, $10 after. Homework: Daily scripture readings encouraged.
Like us on Facebook for activity updates.

Selah // Teachers: Stacey Kuszak & Renee Meyer
Designed for moms with kids in elementary – high school years; this community will explore the question: how might we love, lead and influence our families? Bible study will focus on the invitation of Jesus to “Come to the Table”. You and God. Mom-to-Mom. Pause to pursue with purpose!

Cost: $10 (workbook included). Homework: 20-30 min/day.

Isaiah: An Epic of Eden Study // Facilitator: Kathy Anderson
Often named “the fifth gospel,” the book of Isaiah has more to say about Israel’s coming Messiah than any other Old Testament book. Featuring Dr. Sandra Richter [Epic of Eden] on DVD, our time together will be supplemented with class discussion and prayer. If you’ve struggled to make sense of Isaiah’s words, this class will fill in the blanks of context and help you apply Isaiah’s message to your life today.

Cost: $15 (workbook included). Homework: 5 lessons/week; 30+minutes/lesson.

Galatians // Teacher: Gail Peo
If you long to study alongside other women of the Word, this is the place for you! Taking a verse-by-verse approach to Paul’s letter on grace, you’ll learn what it means to keep a pure faith that’s unpolluted by legalism.

Cost: $10 (workbook included). Homework: 30-60 minutes/week.

Registration requested. Childcare is available and registration is required.
