Our Summer Refresh class starts next Tuesday night. Are you excited? I know I am. For one thing, it’s been seven weeks since our last Equip Her bible study and I’m looking forward to seeing many of your smiling faces again. Secondly, we’re trying something new here on the blog and I can’t wait to see how it works.
Since summer bible studies can be a bit hit or miss, we thought we’d try to coordinate this one with the blog. That way, if you miss a week, you can still get an idea of the focus of that night’s meeting and have a chance to join in a discussion of the week’s lesson. We’re hoping to make this blog very interactive during the next five weeks and will need your help to do so. Our goal is to enhance what you will be learning on Tuesday evenings with additional discussion through the comment portion of this blog.
If you are taking the Summer Refresh class will you commit to join us here each week? We will be posting on Wednesdays and Fridays and hope to make this a place where we can go a little deeper into the discussion we start each Tuesday. Also, if you have to miss class a week or two, we hope this venue will help you stay connected and encourage you to continue with what you are learning.
Because of copyright issues and our respect for the author of this study, we will not be reproducing any of the workbook or showing the video on this site. This blog is merely a place to go deeper with what we are learning. We will be sharing insights into the lessons from our class facilitators and opening this up as a forum for further discussion. I’m so excited to see how this works. I hope you are too.
Not registered for the class yet? You can still do so at Lincoln Berean Women’s Ministries. Or maybe Tuesday evenings don’t work for your schedule. We’d still love for you to participate. You can get materials for the study here or just join us on the blog for discussion.
