Classes Start Next Week

Happy 2020! It’s time for a new year, new decade, new goals.

If your goals include bible study, then we hope you’ll join us at an Equip Her women’s bible study this year. Whether your schedule works best for a Sunday morning, Tuesday morning or Wednesday night, all classes start next week. Below is a reminder of what each time slot has to offer. Sundays, Jan. 12-April 5, 9:00-10:15AM

1 Corinthians//Leaders: Shereen Schwaninger & Marlys Burgett 
Are you looking for “your people”? Find a safe place to learn alongside other women each week at a Sunday table. Using videos by Jennie Allen and guided discussion through 1 Corinthians, we’ll see how the truth of the gospel and the Spirit of God can empower us to choose to follow Jesus every day of our lives.

Tuesdays, Jan. 14-April 14, 9:00-11:30AM

We gather each week from many places and with diverse experiences to lean in and draw strength from each other as women of God – not perfect, but pursuing Jesus together. Choose a study from the 3 electives below.

MUMs (Moms Uplifting Moms)
A place to gather with other mothers of preschoolers and be led by older moms who have “been there.” You’ll explore God’s Word using Grace-Based Discipline resources, learn life lessons from guest speakers, and engage in group discussion and prayer time.

Selah
A special place set aside for moms with school-aged kids (K-12). We pause from Mom Life and gather to pursue God in His Word and through prayer. Learn to live out your faith in practical ways in the midst of marriage, mothering, and friendship as we work through the Quest Study by Beth Moore.

Women in the Bible // Teacher: Kathy Bowman
Scripture is full of stories of wives, working women, leaders and mothers; each had a choice to follow God or not. What we learn from them can help us navigate our own walk of faith. Open your heart as we explore life lessons from 9 women of the Bible.

Wednesdays, Jan. 15 – April 8, 6:30-8:00PM

The Gospel of Ruth // Teacher: Tara Free 
Using Sandra Richter’s video series on Ruth, we’ll see the promise of redemption inspire Ruth to love God enough to break some rules. Step into the rich history of God’s Word, hear from our own leaders, and learn to engage in prayer as you gather with other women each week.
