New Beginning in January 2021

I’m not a golfer, but I’m pretty sure it’s correct to suggest that if 2020 were a tee shot it would be worthy of taking a “mulligan” — definitely off course and deep in the rough. But since we can’t actually do-over the whole year, might I suggest a new beginning for 2021?

Join us in person for God of Creation; a study of Genesis 1-11 with Jen Wilkin on DVD, which will run January 19 – March 30 (no class March 9 during Spring Break). For 10 weeks, we’ll be led verse-by-verse through familiar passages tracing the themes of creation, fall, redemption, and restoration. As we dig into the story of creation, our own purpose in the plan of our Creator-God can inspire us to reflection and worship — we’re excited to experience that with you! (Check out the video promo here. )

Join us on Tuesday Mornings, 9:30-11:00 in the Chapel. We will have time and space for groups to meet for discussion and prayer, in keeping with the current guidelines for social distancing. Register before January 15. NO registration will be available the first day of class.

We will also offer a live stream for those who can’t join in person.

Tuesday Morning Child Care
We are pleased to be able to reopen Child Care with limited space, so if you’re local and need a reason to get out of the house with your children, we invite you to take a look. While you learn God’s Word each Tuesday morning, your children are taught and cared for by paid workers committed to excellence. Infants through Kindergarten-aged children enjoy creative lessons and activities throughout the morning.

For Child Care cost and registration details check the LBC website. Registration opens January 1st and closes January 15th.
