Redeemed, Named, Honored

When life hasn’t turned out the way we’d planned, we do well to realize that God’s ways are not like our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9) — it’s a gap in understanding as wide as heaven and earth.  Yep, that wide!

We do even better to realize that God’s love is not like our love.  Here’s what God in His infinite love says about you (and me) . . .

Do not be afraid, for I have redeemed you;

I have called you by your name, you are mine.

You are precious in my eyes, because you are honored and I love you  . . .

the mountains may depart, the hills be shaken,

but my love for you will never leave you

and my covenant of peace with you will never be shaken.

(Isaiah 43:1,4; 54:10)

Rejoice with me in a God who loves us like He does!
