Tuesday Morning classes began two whole days ago when 150 women and 100 children stepped through wide open glass doors and settled into their respective classrooms.
The Coffee House filled with dozens of conversations – renewed and new – sitting around tables, standing in line, sipping on coffee.
As we settled into the morning together, these words from Philippians 2:1-2 directed our focus:
“If you’ve gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care – then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends.”
So, now that it’s been two whole days, I wonder what you took away from our time together on Tuesday.
Did the worship songs with live music stir your heart?
Did God’s Word light a flame for learning more?
Did you discover something new about yourself, or about others?
Did you regret something you said, or didn’t say?
Did you leave longing for more?
Mind if I pray?
